The Chamber of Industries of Uruguay (CIU), a leading organisation in the national industrial sector, has taken a key step in its modernisation process by selecting K2B as its new ERP system. This decision responds to the need to move towards the optimisation and digitalisation of its internal processes.
According to Stefan Hartwich, Director of Administration and Finance at CIU, the choice of K2B was motivated by “good references from clients, a strong first impression of the ERP in terms of aesthetics and functionalities shown in the presentations, and commercial flexibility when moving forward with the agreement.”
Modernisation and Optimisation: The Driving Force Behind Change
CIU faced significant challenges in improving internal management and saw that “the K2B ERP would be the ideal support to advance the optimisation and digitalisation of internal processes.” Hartwich highlights, “We estimate that with K2B in production, we will be able to achieve the planned objective.”
Regarding the implementation process, Hartwich notes: “I see it as organised and well-planned, with continuous communication that allows us to know exactly where we stand and to find possible solutions to any issues that arise. It has been very comfortable working with the K2B team, both professionally and personally.”
Although the system is not yet fully in production, the tests in the Testing environment already allow the team to anticipate the benefits: “The tests we are conducting in the Testing environment enable us to visualise the future improvements.”
When asked about the experience of working with the K2B team, Hartwich is clear: “Top marks in every respect.”
Next Steps: Automation, Digitalisation, and Integration
Looking ahead, CIU’s expectations are clear: “Firstly, to complete the initial stage of automation in the use of the ERP, which always takes some time, and then to enjoy the optimisation of processes and the reduction in paperwork that digitalisation will bring. The expectation is to take another step forward and then implement the CRM to integrate other areas of the organisation.”
