The leading organisation specialising in microfinance in Panama has chosen K2B ERP to automate its processes and efficiently streamline daily operations, a strategic decision that marks a milestone for the organisation.
Microserfin is part of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of low-income entrepreneurs using a Productive Finance methodology that provides financial services, training and support so that urban and rural micro-entrepreneurs can progress through the surpluses generated by their productive activities.
Transforming Microserfin’s Purchasing Management
In order to strengthen its operations, Microserfin selected K2B ERP to implement a more agile and efficient purchasing management. Its implementation aims to standardise and centralise various processes, providing a comprehensive solution for the efficient management of all phases of the supply of goods and services.
The adoption of K2B brings Microserfin a new era of operational efficiency and management transparency. Process optimisation will facilitate the traceability of interventions, while assertive communication with suppliers will become a key asset.
Scope of the project and integration with Bantotal
The project covers the implementation of different ERP modules with the aim of enhancing the operational efficiency of the organisation: Requisitions, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Treasury. In addition, the project stands out for integrating the accounting of Microserfin’s administrative and financial processes generated by K2B ERP into its core Bantotal accounting system. In this way, the cohesion and fluidity of the financial processes is strengthened, providing a comprehensive and consolidated view of all accounting operations.

We worked synergistically with a mixed multidisciplinary team of functional and technical staff from both K2B and MIcroserfin, achieving a successful implementation in just a few months.
