Uruware joins Vesta LATAM’s unified operation with K2B ERP
As part of Vesta LATAM’s regional consolidation strategy, Uruware has unified its operational management with K2B ERP, strengthening its processes, corporate reporting and business scalability.
About Uruware
Uruware is a leading Uruguayan company specialising in the development of electronic invoicing systems. A pioneer in the country, its solution issued Uruguay’s first electronic tax document (CFE) and is now used by more than 25,000 companies across Uruguay, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic. With a strong focus on information security and regulatory compliance with the Uruguayan tax authority (DGI), Uruware has been part of Vesta Software Group since 2023. The group is consolidating a regional ecosystem of technology companies across Latin America.
The challenge: integrating into a regional operation
Following its incorporation into Vesta, Uruware needed to align its administrative and financial management with the group’s standards: centralised accounting information, corporate reporting to the headquarters in London, and consistent controls across Vesta LATAM’s companies.
The starting point was not straightforward. Uruware’s business model makes its commercial operations — sales, invoicing and collections — both high-volume and complex, involving thousands of customers, services and documents, as well as highly specific business rules. Migrating the entire operation to a new system was not the best option; the challenge was to integrate it without compromising efficiency.
The solution: K2B ERP with integration middleware
A solution was designed to combine the best of both worlds: Uruware retains its own commercial system, which already manages its entire sales, invoicing and collections operation, while this information is transferred daily to K2B ERP through a new integration module — middleware — developed specifically to support the onboarding of business units with this type of operational model.
The process is simple and controlled. Through batch processes, each business unit using the middleware uploads its new customers, invoices and collections to a validation queue on a daily basis. Once the information has been verified, it is automatically recorded and posted in K2B ERP.
The module is also available as a reusable component for future onboarding of group companies with high-volume commercial operations.
The results
With this implementation, Uruware achieved:

Uruware has been live with K2B ERP since early November 2025 and is operating normally.
A proven solution for expanding groups
This implementation further establishes K2B ERP as a robust solution for expanding business groups: one capable of centralising the financial and accounting management of multiple business units while integrating with existing commercial systems, without forcing migrations that could put day-to-day operations at risk.
An additional key capability for corporate groups is intercompany transaction management, which K2B ERP supports natively. This simplifies the recording and reconciliation of transactions between group companies, while providing the traceability required by corporate controls.
